Niabi Zoo
The Niabi Zoo is the third largest zoo in Illinois.  The zoo
grounds are 40 acres with another 200 acres set aside
for native flora and fauna preservation.  Niabi is home to over 900 animals representing more than 160 species.  Approximately 250,000 visitors a year makes Niabi one of the largest attractions in the Quad Cities.
  The Zoo grounds also offers a playground, picnic areas, carousel, train ride, and concession stands.
  The zoo is located approximately 15 miles
 from our campground.

John Deere Pavilion

The John Deere Pavilion is an awesome place
 to take your family for a visit.  It exhibits a history of John Deere Agricultural equipment.  This site has antique tractors as well as massive modern combines to look at and kids are allowed to climb on and in the equipment.  There is no charge to visit here!   The pavilion also features a John Deere Store and restaurant.  The above link also tells you about the John Deere Historic Site which is located just down the street, and talks about the John Deere TPC Run Golf Course.  The pavilion is located downtown Moline and is within walking distance to many restaurants and shops and is located directly across the street from the i Wireless Center and the beautiful Mississippi River which features a scenic bike and walking path.

so please read on!! The Pavilion is approximately

The i Wireless Center is host to many different types of entertainment.   You can catch a concert, watch some hockey or arena football, see the circus or a rodeo, all in their 12,000 seat arena.  They also have meeting and banquet rooms for rent.  They are located directly across from the John Deere Pavilion in downtown Moline, right on
the bank of the Mississippi River.

Red Dog Run Golf Course

This 9 hole course features 3,025 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36.  The course rating is 35 and it has a slope rating of 113.  It is conveniently located less than
1 1/2 miles from our campground!

Golfmohr offers daily fee play, season memberships, league play and annual weekend reservations.  They offer twilight rates beginning at 1 p.m. every day and all day senior rates on weekdays.  They can accomodate golf outings of any size up to 160 players with their updated golf cart fleet.  Weekday reservations are
not required , but highly recommended.

TPC Deere Run Golf Course

For those golf enthusiasts, TPC at Deere Run is close by.  TPC is an 18 hole championship golf club.  Visiting golfers will find elevation changes of 75 feet, natural rock outcroppings, mature hardwoods, and scenic views of the Rock River. The Golf Course is aproximately 6 miles from our campground!

This is an 18 hole course open 7 days a week, daylight to dusk.  Known for its well-groomed greens and fairways, Byron Hills features just enough hazards and beautiful lush fairways to make an enjoyable round of golf.

Modern Woodmen Park

If your a baseball fan, Modern Woodmen Park is located approximately 19 miles away and has been host to minor league baseball since 1931.  Home to the Quad City River Bandits, an affiliate of the Cardinals, it features the Genesis Healthy Kids Zone with inflatable slide, mini baseball diamond, and more; The Hot Tub Zone, two stores, Party Plaza, sky deck and Tiki Village.  The park is located right on the scenic Mississippi River!

The Celebration Belle is the largest non-gaming excursion riverboat in the Upper Mississippi River.  This family owned and operated riverboat offers everything from sightseeing and lunch cruises to day long 100 mile cruises on the mighty Mississippi!  Reservations are required.  The Belle is located less than 14 miles from our campground.
